SenseDoor is the unique Hotel automation solution with these features:

  • small size (could be installed over the door frame);
  • customizable RGB back-light (to report the room status);
  • no need for room panel I/Os (it has its own embedded I/Os);
  • also available in standalone version (no software needed).

 

The technical specifications are:

  • 24VDC power (from a zone controller able to power and backup up to 32 rooms);
  • high speed RS485 bus (up to 200 meters; the room operations are guaranteed even in case of communication loss); 
  • electric strife 12VDC/250mA output (the access to the room is guaranteed even in case of blackout);
  • 2 clean contact relays;
  • 2 on/off inputs;
  • 2 RFID key readers;
  • optional EnOcean radio transceiver (to communicate with wireless and battery-free EnOcean devices).

 

All the connections are available on pratical extractable terminals.

ZDR – Access reader

 

RFID (proximity) card reader to access rooms or common areas.

 

It has a beautiful software customizable RGB back-light, used to repeat the room status on the floor (busy, do not disturb, to be tidied up, staff call, alarm, etc…).

 

It could be installed into an optional customizable plexiglass frame with room number, also back-lit by the reader.

ZDR – Access reader

 

RFID (proximity) card reader to access rooms or common areas.

The touch pushbutton is used to:

  • toggle the do not disturb function (when used by the guest);
  • signal the room tidy up (when used by the maiden);
  • reset all alarms (when used by the director).

 

The room status (do not disturb, alarm, staff call, etc…) is shown to the guest using different customizable colors of the RGB back-light. The device also embeds a buzzer to emit acoustic signals (push-button feedback, alarms, etc…).

SenseDoor could communicate with wireless sensors and actuators with EnOcean technology. EnOcean it’s an energy harvesting technology able to power little devices with the environment energy and transmit simple radio telegrams at 868Mhz and up to 30mt inside.

 

Our currently supported EnOcean devices are:

  • push-buttons (to drive lights, shutters, etc…);
  • magnetic switches (to detect windows and doors opening);
  • thermostats;
  • relays.
