Sense is the automation and access control solution for hotels with the following characteristics:
- RGB backlighting customizable (to indicate the status of the room);
- does not require control units in the room panel (because it is already equipped with numerous I / Os);
- also available in standalone version (without the need for controllers or software).
Sense is the perfect solution both for those with predispositions (boxes 503) near the entrance to the room. On the contrary, Sensedoor is the solution for retrofit mounting and in confined spaces, because it is installed directly on the door frame.
Technical specifications of Sense control unit (S-MODULE):
- installation in box 503 or on DIN bar (choose SD-MODULE Sensedoor control unit to install into the door frame);
- 24VDC power supply (from a single controller that can manage up to 32 rooms);
- high speed RS485 bus (up to 200mt; the absence of communication does not prevent Sense from allowing access and activating the camera);
- 1 12VDC output (max 300mA) for the electric strike ( door unlocking is guaranteed even in the event of a black-out );
- 2 dry contact relays;
- 3 generic on/off inputs;
- 2 connectors for Sense/SenseDoor RFID readers for accessing and activating the room (can be positioned from 60cm to 10m away);
- 1 connector for SensePad (RFID numeric keypad, waterproof and anti-vandal).
All connections are made on practical removable terminals. The S-MODULE control unit is interchangeable with the SD-MODULE control unit of the SenseDoor line, which can be installed instead in the door frame.
S-ACCESS – Access reader
RFID card reader (proximity) for unlocking of gates and access control in the hotel.
It is equipped with RGB backlighting that can be customized via software, used to replicate the status of the room in the corridor (occupied, do not disturb, to be rearranged or to be sanitized , personal call, alarm in progress, etc…).
Also available in the white variant.

S-KEYPAD – Access reader with keypad
RFID card reader (proximity) with keypad for unlocking of gates and access control in the hotel.
Like the previous S-ACCESS model, but also with a numeric touch pad for PIN entry .
The PIN and usage instructions are sent to the guest by email upon pre-check-in.

The touch button allows you to:
- activate the do not disturb function (by the guest);
- report the rearrangement of the room (by the cleaning staff) or the sanitization (long press);
- to reset alarms (by the manager).
The status of the room (do not disturb, alarm, staff call, etc …) is indicated to the guest in the room through the color of the RGB backlighting (customizable).
